With oil reserves depelting and no oil left in sufficient amounts there would be a catastrophic blow on the economy if this crisis come unprepared.
Transportation: This is the first aspect that will recieve a direct and most massive blow because of oil crisis.
All the cars that we drive, all the trucks that we use, all the machines we used to built up building will be rendered useless, life less because of no oil. The motor companies with their sales down will be shutting down or will be working on taking out cars with alternative fuels with watevr resources they have left.
Although there will still be a few cars powered by either electricity or hydrogen and most of them would be prototypes.
however travelling by aire would br totally abandoned the airlines would be stopped and all planes would be grounded.
those big large boeings and airbuses we built will be standing there idle, and world's busiest airports would be the quitest.
Food:Food delivery would ofcourse be not possible so the immediate impact would be feeding on whatever is leftover in the department store or in the storeroom. But most likely it would be growing your own food. The kind of food that we eat would be a more haelthier and fast food era would now come to an end.
People would have already started to abandoned the stores and buildings to migrate to different areas.
Living:Most likely the houses that we live in and the places wont change. But the way of living will change.
Electricity: There will be a significant increase in demand for ekectricity and the question that whether electricity will be able to cope up with the demands with the pressure on it building is uncertain. But even though electricity contributes most in our lives it wont anymore, electricity supply becoming scarce compared to increase in the demand the cost will rise up and it's use will have to be shortened.
Solar :Man will be urged to come up with a solution to harness the solar energy to produce electricity.Newer components will be developed to tap the solar energy more effectively and increase in demand for solar panels would give rise to a new industry
Wind energy:Newer wind energy projects will be under development giving rise to new industry and markets
Farming :All the available space in the city that could be cultivated would be utilized to grow vegetables.
Buildings to gardens.People would eat what they grow.
Plastic reuse:Plastic is so undecomposable that in a hundred years wont decay. So the previously created plastic bags will be dug from the dumps to utilize them again since there is no energy left to produce more plastic nor there is any place to dump them.
Energy efficient ways will be figured out to build new homes cities and older cities will be abandoned.
Skies will be more clearer.
